The problem with calling an electrician
You called three electricians. Nobody called back. Chris answers, and you know the price first.
The old way is a week of voicemails, a stranger with a clipboard, and a number that grows once the work is open. Chris looks at the job himself, tells you what it costs, and does the work he quoted.

Before you call
Frequently asked questions.
The things people usually want to know before they let an electrician in the door.
01Do you handle emergencies outside normal hours?
Yes. Stagg Electric runs 24/7 emergency service. If the power is out, a breaker will not reset, or something is sparking or burning, call at any hour rather than waiting until morning.
02Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Stagg Electric Company LLC is a licensed and insured New Jersey electrical contractor, license number 19320. You can check that number against the state register before anyone sets foot in your house.
03What areas do you cover?
Based in West Berlin and working across Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Voorhees, Berlin, Atco, Blackwood, Sewell, Washington Township, Williamstown, Moorestown, Mount Laurel, Marlton, Medford, Medford Lakes, Shamong and Hammonton. If you are nearby but not on that list, call and ask, because the service area is wider than the towns listed here.
04Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free, and you will know what the job costs before any work starts.
05Do you do commercial work or just houses?
Both. Residential and commercial, from a single dead outlet through to full rough-in and finish on new construction and renovations.
06I do not know what is actually wrong. Can you still help?
That is most of the job. Troubleshooting is a service in its own right, whether it is a breaker that keeps tripping, a dead outlet, a flickering light, or something nobody else could explain.
07Can you install an EV charger?
Yes. That usually means running a dedicated circuit to the garage or driveway, and depending on the age of your panel it can mean a service upgrade first. Worth asking about before you buy the charger.
08What kind of work do you take on?
Service upgrades, panel replacements, recessed lighting, EV charger installation, dedicated circuits, troubleshooting and repairs, new construction and renovations, and generators.

Tell him what it’s doing and he’ll tell you what it costs.
